Ostara Celebration 20th March

Ostara is a celebration in the Wheel of the Year, which is a pagan and Wiccan calendar marking the cycles of nature and seasonal changes. Ostara, named after the Germanic goddess Eostre (or Ostara), is typically observed around the spring equinox, usually occurring between March 19 and March 23. It is a festival that honors the arrival of spring, the rebirth of nature, and the balance between light and darkness.
The origins of Ostara are tied to pre-Christian traditions and the worship of Eostre, a goddess associated with fertility, renewal, and the dawn. In Germanic and Anglo-Saxon traditions, Eostre was revered as a goddess of spring who symbolized new life, growth, and the awakening of the earth after the long, cold winter months.
The name “Ostara” comes from this goddess, and the festival is said to celebrate the lengthening days and the return of warmth and fertility to the land.
Come and join us for a wonderful ritual evening where we will honour the goddess Eostre. During the ritual we will open a circle and call in the quarter guardians, share libations and perform Spellwork. We will then end the evening with food, drink and good company.

Dress Code:- Pagan, witchy, smart but comfortable, We are honouring Gods and Goddesses so it’s a good idea to wear something a bit nice. 
Extras:- Please bring an offering for the Altar, nothing big, some food, drink or flowers is perfect. 
 
Please feel free to bring your book of shadows or journal to record any information.
 
All materials and light refreshments are included, if you have any dietary requirements please contact us before the workshop.

There is free parking onsite which is on a first come basis, there is also free parking on the side roads and at west park. The room is also accessible by lift if it is needed, please contact us if you have any special access requirements.
 
When you purchase a ticket you will receive a download with all of the information you will need, please read it before you attend.
PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE WORKSHOP START TIME, IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATER THAN THE START TIME TO A WORKSHOP, DOORS WILL BE LOCKED UNLESS WE ARE NOTIFIED.
CANCELLATION POLICY
* Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will receive a credit note, which can be used in-store or towards another workshop.
* Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable, and no credit note will be issued.
* Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances, but you must inform us if you are unable to attend.
